sleep is slowly encasing me, but not before i write down the way he makes me feel. his body. his mind. his soul. every part of him calls to me with silvery longing. over and over our lips touch with a slight pressure. the silliest things come out of his mouth, and i love it. did you know that female crayfish have hips? i do now. his arms of a baseball player. the hair on his body. even the smell of him, not his cologne, but his own smell. all these details that make him who he is, my love, my desire, mine. i'm finding a new best friend.
please hold onto me so i don't melt into the rapture of our love. please don't let me push you away when i'm gone. please keep me with you in this perfection. please tell me over and over why you love me just because it makes me smile. please don't let me forget why you are everything i've ever wanted or needed. please God keep us together.
